Today, my card uses Sitting With Candy which can be found at Diana's store here.

I colored my little Tilda with distress ink and copic markers.
Paper is from Core'dinations, love the shimmery look!
Lace is from my local craft store
Paper flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Paper doily from Wal-Mart
Stamens from my local craft store
Ribbon from JoAnns Crafts
As you can see in the pics I have added some stickles to her hair bow, capped sleeves, and pocket.  I love the glittery look.
I also added it to my flower :)

Now, if you came here from Glenda's blog you're on the right track.  If you just happened upon my blog, please go back to the beginning and start with Barb's blog and hop along with us.

Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop Today!

Hello and welcome to the 10th installment of the Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop!

The hop starts here! Today I created a cute Christmas card using Jolly Tilda and Peppermint from the Christmas 2010 Collection, both can be purchased from the Magnolia Store found here.

The paper I chose is from Close To My Heart.  The ribbon is from my stash, and was transformed into this fun bow using the Bow Easy.  The candy cane charm and the beaded wrap on the inside are from Roberts Crafts.
I colored my Tilda and Candy Cane using Tim Holtz Distress Inks.
The paper behind Tilda was embossed using a cuttlebug die, but it's hard to see in the pic.

Now lets hop on over to Kathy's blog to see what wonderfully wintery creation she has designed for us.

So Snoowie!

Wow!  It's the 25th of September already.  Today I made a Christmas card, for the Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop, using Snoowie with Star instead of a Tilda or Edwin.  I just love this little guy. I colored him with copics on the new Xpress It copic paper, love that stuff, so smooth!
It's a pretty simple card as I was super busy today and could only work a little bit at a time.  I think it's pretty cute tho.
I used paper flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and some bling from my stash as well as some organdy ribbon, also from my stash.

Here is my card: Please excuse the poor photography.  My good camera has a dead battery LOL

If you came from Glenda's blog you're on the right track, but...if you started here, you will want to go back to the beginning with Deb's blog and see all the wonderful creations in order!

Now lets head on over to Kathy's blog to see what's she's been creating lately!

You're Just Peachy!

Today, while my husband took our youngest to see Despicable Me, I managed to squeeze in some crop time with my other two kids.  While they were coloring images, I created this card using Peachy Tilda that I got from an image swap.  Now I have to have her LOL

Tilda was colored with Tim Holtz distress inks and copics (for the face).  I used my nesties to cut her out.  The paper is from Karen Foster (red and yellow) and Imaginisce (Green).  The ribbon and lace were from my stash, the charms are also from my stash and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I really love how vintage she looks!  Kind of fall-ish too!
Here is my card:

It's Christmas in July...

Today over at the Magnolia-licious yahoo group we are celebrating Christmas in July!
Every 25th of the month Magnolia hosts a Christmas All Year Round blog hop and you're invited!

Starting with Cheryl's Blog you can hop through the Christmas-y creations one by one and feel the chill of the holidays...Can you believe we are half way to Christmas?  Where does the time go?

If you started here please go back to the beginning so you don't miss a thing.  If you can from Glenda's Blog then you're on the right track!

Today my card features Tilda Santa's Little Helper from the 2009 So Jolly/Under The Mistletoe Collection.  I used my Tim Holtz distress inks to color her in except her face, I used E00 and E02 from Copic.  The candy cane is a digital image that was perfect for this card.  It was also colored with distress ink.
The paper I used is from my computer, there's no company, I just searched for Christmas paper and it popped up.  I absolutely love it.  I saved it to my computer and printed it on watercolor paper, I love the texture.
The flowers are from Crafta.com and Wild Orchid Crafts.com.
The edge punch for the card was from Making Memories, I believe...
The crystal garland was from my local craft store and I colored it with some distress re-inker (raisin) to give it some color.
The PEACE charm on the top, right corner of the card is from my stash of charms.

Here is a close-up of little Tilda:

Waiting for Someone...

Look at her...she looks so sad sitting there waiting for someone...I know just who she is waiting for...She is waiting for her mingle partner, Lynn M. over at the Magnolia Cards and Kit Swap Yahoo group!

I used Tilda Longing Tilda from the 2010 Fairy Tale Collection and Castle Window, also from the Fairy Tale Collection.
Paper is from DCWV Princess paper stack, I just love, love, love this paper.  I embellished my card with some flowers from Crafta.com and Wild Orchid Crafts.com as well as some organdy ribbon from CTMH.  The glittery butterflies are from Heidi Swapp.  I used Tim Holtz distress ink to color my little Tilda except for her face, I used E00 from copic.  Once I was done with the card, I sprayed the whole thing down with glitter spray from JoAnn's Crafts.  You can totally see how shiny it is LOL

Here are some more pics of the card I created.

Thanks for looking!

Angels and Butterflies

Today I finally finished a card I started back in the middle of June!  I loved the card but knew it needed more and I didn't have what I wanted so I waited.  Once I had what I wanted I didn't have the time so I waited some more...Today I had not only the supplies but the time to complete it.

I used Tilda with Bare Feet and I just LOVE how she's facing away from you and you can see her little wings and tiny toes.  What a cutie!
The paper I used is from The Paper Loft.  Tilda was colored with copic markers and I also did some paper piecing on her scarf and overalls.  Love the look!
I also used a lovely gold ribbon slide with some New England Ivy ribbon from CTMH.  I also used paper flowers from Crafta and Wild Orchid Crafts.  The butterfly is from my stash.

Butterflies is the theme for our Magnolia-licious Yahoo group Mingle and Kit Swap this month.  If you'd like to join in the fun, click on the link in my side bar on the left.

I'm not sure what I plan on doing with this cute little Tilda but chances are, she'll end up in the hands of my lovely mingle partner!!

Here are the pics of my card.  Enjoy!

This one shows the popped details of Tilda sitting on the fence.  I colored the bottom image gray except for her feet, those I colored normal.  Then I colored the top image but cut off her feet.  I popped the two images together to give it more of a dimensional feel.  Now it really does look like she's sitting on the fence.  I also created the background, it's supposed to be a sunset LOL

This one is just a close up of the image itself.

I love Shrinky Dinks

Wow!  I wish I knew about this stuff when I was a kid, it's awesome!  Of course, now that I am an adult, I find it more fun.  I stamped one of my favorite Magnolia images "Princess Tilda" (mainly cause I'm a princess too) onto my new shrink plastic and colored her with my copic markers and stuck her in my toaster oven to shrink.  I love how cute and little she is, I punched a hole in her head while she was still warm so I could add her to a card as a charm.  I think I'm going to go broke buying up more shrink plastic LOL!

Watch out world...here comes "Tiny Tilda" LOL!

*Tip: use light colors as they darken when cooked!

Thanks for looking! This was just for fun...

Coloring with Distress Inks

So, this is the very first time I've colored with the Tim Holtz Distress Inks (I used the ink pads) and I really do love how it turned out.  I followed the advice of Angie Hunt, I just LOVE how her images come out, I even bought the ones she used on her Honey Tilda LOL I haven't colored her yet.

Anyway, I just wanted to share her with you and ask for your opinions (but be gentle LOL).  One of these days I'll get her on a card.  Who knows, maybe the lucky recipient will be my SIL or my Mingle partner :) You just never know with me!!

Thanks for looking!

This is Tilda with Spring Bundler.

Happy 25th of June everyone!

Every 25th of the month over at the Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long blog we have a blog hop featuring Christmas cards.  This month I used a super cute Tilda I haven't seen before.  Her name is Cozy Tilda and I just love her cozy little mitt and coat.  She looks so warm!

My paper came from an old Close To My Heart kit that I bought ages ago but it was wintery and worked perfectly with my Tilda.  I actually colored her AFTER I chose my paper this time LOL
Other items I used on my card were Snowflake buttons in various sizes from various companies, big silver brads, some ribbon from my stash, a safety pin and charm that reads NOEL.  Tilda is sitting on some baby blue floss from CTMH also.
One other element on my card was the use of stick-ease, a product from CTMH.  They are cardstock stickers that are made to look real.  I used them under the ribbon and the frame on the inside.  It's a fun little touch.
The sentiment was stamped with a CTMH stamp called For Every Occasion.
Here are some more views of my card:

Now lets hop on over to Kathy Curry's Blog and see what wonderful creation she has come up with this 25th of June.
If you just came from Deb's Blog you're on the right track.
If you started with my blog, hop back over here to Julie's blog and start from the beginning as I don't want you to miss a single great creation!

Products used:
DP, brads, stick-ease, safety pin from CTMH
Ribbon from my stash
Snowflakes from various companies

Spooky Tilda...

Not!  There's nothing spooky about her at all, in fact, she's just adorable.
As you can clearly see, she's not attached to any card...yet...but it will happen someday.  I colored her yesterday and really liked how she turned out so I thought I'd share :)
I'm going to use her on a card for my hubby, he's deploying soon and I thought this would make a cute "halloween" card to send to him.  I'm going to put "BOO HOO I MISS YOU" on the inside, see the BOO is halloweenie LOL Ok, well I thought it was cute.  It's probably how I'm going to feel anyway...BOO HOO!!

Anyway, I colored her with my copics, gotta love those babies!  My ever growing collection :) I just had to go out and buy and new container to put them in for when I travel (yes, I have to take them with me along with some stamped images just to color LOL can you say "obsessed?")

Thanks for looking!!!  I will definitely post the card once I make it.  I promise!!

Oh, one more thing, I also used one of the MS punch around the page punches...love it!!  Wish now it was the cobweb one but oh well!

June Mingle Card

So I was on a roll today in my scrapbook loft making cards that I am behind on.  Today, I finished up my June Mingle Card for my mingle partner (Marcia) over at the Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group.  Want to join?  Click on the group button on my sidebar --->

Ok, here is the card I made for Marcia.  I used Tilda with Cute Skirt (and boy is it ever a cute skirt).  The paper I received from one of the Card Kit Swaps.  Love those swaps.  I'm anxious to get my next set, I'm almost out of kits.  I am also hosting my own card kit swap so I can't wait to get those either :)

Other items used were beaded garland, paper flowers from Prima, satin roses from Hobby Lobby, ribbon from my ribbon jar, butterflies, and I also used Stairs from Magnolia too.  Gotta love those stairs.  The sentiment FOR YOU is from CTMH.
Here are some more views of my card.

It's a Girl...Good News Tilda

Ok, one more...I told you I was on a roll today, even though it was Father's Day, my hubby spent the afternoon playing is PS3 and since the kids were watching him I got some free time to myself :)

This card is for a friend of ours who is going to be having a baby girl any day now.  It will be her first girl after having 3 little boys, they are very excited and very done LOL!  I went a little non-trasitional on my card and used Good News Tilda from the Magnolia store.  I colored her using my Copics.  Paper was from CTMH, ribbon from Roberts Crafts, Charm from Dollar Store, flowers from Prima, Crafta, Hobby Lobby, brads from a kit swap (loved how well they matched with my paper and ribbon).  CONGRATULATIONS from CTMH (stamped on vellum and cut out). Other items used: Nestabilities and sticker sentiment.
